  • Mix Shan Butter Chicken Mix, lemon juice, yogurt, oil and apply to the meat cubes. Marinate for 1-3 hours.
  • Boil the tomatoes in 1-2 cups of water for 10 minutes or until soft and tender. Sieve to remove skin and seeds. Keep tomato puree aside.
  • Separately: Heat a fry pan and add the marinated meat. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium-low heat and turn the meat. Remove from pan.
  • Add the chicken to the tomato puree. Cover and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes. Add butter and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add cream. Stir and remove from heat. Serve hot.

Heat oil, fry onions until light golden, remove and crush.

In the same oil, add meat, yogurt and Shan Korma Mix. Cover and cook on low heat for 20-30 minutes.

Add diced ginger and ½-1 cup water for gravy. Cover and cook on low heat until meat is tender.

Stir-in crushed onions. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes.

Mix garlic, ginger paste and Shan Karahi Mix. Apply to meat and marinate for (Chicken 15 minutes, Goat/ Lamb/ Beef 1-2 hours +).

Heat one cup oil and stir fry meat on high heat for 5-6 minutes. Add diced ginger. Cover and cook on low heat until meat is tender (Chicken 10 minutes, Goat / Lamb / Beef 45 minutes).

Separately heat ½ cup oil and add tomatoes. Cook on low heat until soft (5-6 minutes). Stir periodically.

Add cooked tomatoes and green chillies to the cooked meat. On medium heat stir-fry meat until oil separates from masala. Stir constantly. If desired remove excessive oil. Add fresh coriander and butter. Stir fry and serve with hot naans.

Mix Shan Tikka Mix in half cup of water, garlic and 2 tablespoons oil. Apply to meat.

Leave to marinate for 3-4 hours. *(Remove and discard the raw papaya slices from the meat, if used).

Sew meat onto skewers. Place on very low heat of coal/gas fire. Grill lightly on all sides.

Lightly brush meat with butter/oil and rotate the skewers until meat is tender. Serve with Shan Tamarind Chutney, salad and lemon juice.

* To tenderize the meat further, add ½ cup thinly sliced papaya.
